Here is the rules

The rules for this map are as follows:   

Upon game start all players are to head to the bottom floor of the start area and pick a tube. Players also must close the door behind them so people can see which tubes are taken.

You may not break any blocks except for the following: Leaves, wood logs (not planks)  tall grass, vines, mushrooms, pumpkins, melons, gravel, cobblestone ( not smoothstone), sand, TNT, any type of ore, and glowstone.

You may not place any blocks except for crafting benches, furnaces, TNT, Levers, Pressure Plates, Redstone Dust, Buttons, and brewing stands. Remember: you cannot remove them once they are placed so be careful where you place them!

Crafting is allowed.

Only one person can win.

No leaving the islands (the islands are surrounded by miles of water. Anybody caught swimming aimlessly out in one direction can be punished at the admin/gamemakers discretion.

When you say you may not break certain blocks, does that mean that we are physically unable to break them or that we actually can break them, but are just not allowed to?

What happens if you accidently break the ground while fighting off an enemy? I mean its not unheard of to rapidly slash, the enemy moves out the way and your weapon strikes the wall behind it, or the ground possibly.
So is it instant disqualification or will you just get warnings?

It would be kinda strange to one-hit a block by accident with a weapon, since you won't get anything else than weapons. 1 warning will be given though, for I am kind.

is there a timelimit? If people are good tacticians this could potentially span out to longer than a day, some have things to do. So will there be intermissions or breaks?

Your timelimit is your life.
Lots of things will be around to kill you, but I think enemy players will be the most dangerous.
The map is not THAT large either.

Also, I think I can get a few people on the fanserver forum if you want more bodies. I don't know how they will react to playing with a bunch of Steves, though.

I just need a date and a time (in EST) and we can rock from there.

Well, not really decided. But a Première! (test round) should take place this weekend.

We've pretty much finished preparing everything already and are now just working on the small details.

And we need people o.O max 28. I hope we get at least 8 for the test round.
