I just finished watching the third ep, and I think the story's getting pretty awesome.

Anyways, yeah, the 4th episode was great! I can honestly say that the first 4 eps of Korra are WAY better and more suspenseful than the first 4 eps of Aang.

I've heard of this anime for some time now, but I'm quite picky about my anime. Unless they are really gripping on the first few episodes, I won't bother.
So like, is it really worth watching?

This show is pretty much worth watching, but I recommend watching the original series in order to get the full effect~

Totally worth watching, but as Smashy said, you won't get the full experience without watching the original series.

Though the style is somewhat based on the Japanese anime style, this show is made by Americans. (go figure)
And yes, it is REALLY worth watching ONLY if you watched the original series.

Well, shit. The latest episode ("And the winner is...") was spectacularly mind-blowing. The fights! The action! The comedy! The suspense! Seriously, this show is getting better and better with each episode.

Ever since avatar finished and I saw this show announced, I was thinking "they killed another show with some fucking random shit." After actually watching the show, I proved myself wrong. This show is amazing!

I don't think it will be able to match the epic backstories and main story of the previous part though.
