Oh yeah, always invest in spells before equipment. Magic is really good early-game.
Also, I think the dragon's weak to water/ice spells? Not 100% sure.

So, Bravely Default just got really hard all of a sudden. I'm at level 83 and I barely have a chance at these bosses.

If the game continues on like this, I'll probably have to beat the boss at level 99. ._.

Are you playing on Normal or Hard? According to some comments, it is almost impossible to beat the game on Hard without maxing your level but even then you'll have to die multiple times in order to find the right strategy. I've even heard people say that even on Normal difficulty, even at level 99, people still have trouble beating bosses in the last 2 chapters.

Playing on normal, just grinded to level 99 (Only took me half an hour!) and things just got way easier. I can't even imagine how tough the last chapter will be.

Yeah, we all probably do the same thing. It's an RPG.

There, I beat it. And holy crap that final boss. It was brilliantly executed from both a story and gameplay perspective. I mean, wow. One of the best RPG final bosses, imo. It was just wow. You'll guys see when you'll get there~

final playtime: ~77 hours. Almost as long as Xenoblade, huh.
I'll post my party strategies and stats if you guys want to, but I really don't want to influence your strategies.
