Since I haven't really seen any topic about this yet, except for manga/anime, I decided to start the talk about it! (This is not about manga/anime!)

Honestly, I love to read books. The more pages they have, the better.
I own several series of books, including Harry Potter, The Darkest Trilogy, Twilight series (fuck off, they're pretty good), The Lord Of The Ring series, Eragon series, ...

Do any of you guys like to read? Tell me!

I bought the full Sherlock Holmes collection, like last week, haven't touched 'em yet, cuz I'm reading "The Gun Seller" by Hugh Laurie. Yep, Hugh Laurie. House. Mr. Little.

i own the entire series of twilight although i havent touched them since a month after i bought them
i also own the hunger games series, which was amazing.
other than that, i prefer to read individual books since its hard to locate parts of a series... and then i have to pay for them if i want to keep it
i do go to the library very often though, and ive found several gems because of that
i cannot recall how many books ive read to date because ive been drawn into reading ever since i was young, and i usually love all the books i finish(which is a lot)

A friend of mine told me to read the Hunger Games, are they really worth it?

And, my latest purchase is a book called "The Left Hand of God", but I kinda forgot the autor xD

It's very teen-oriented but pretty cool. Since the movie is coming out, I suggest you watch that first so you no get disappointed by lack of details.
Left hand of god, hoffman? it reminded me of Zero no Tsukaima so I bought it but I don't know where it is..

Could be Hoffman, I should go and check it out but I'm too lazy. The cover looked kinda Assassins Creedish though.
And I'm not really into movies that much so ;)

  • Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse by Kaleb Nation (the Twilight Guy) - The only way I can describe this book is to say it's a lot like Harry Potter.
  • The Last Dragon Chronicles series by Chris d'Lacey - A series of 6 books, with a 7th coming out next month. The first book starts with a guy who ends up living as a tenant to some woman and her daughter that make dragon statuettes, and if you believe then the dragon statuettes come to life. It's not as dinky as it sounds, actually. It's actually pretty interesting. (I have to read that sixth book, as the library doesn't have it. Just require an ebook or pdf. I'll find one eventually. LOL)
  • Earth's Children series by Jean M. Auel - A series of six books that take place like 30,000 years ago and is about some cro-magnon girl raised by neanderthals who struggles to find her place in the world. It's better than it sounds.
  • ICO: Castle in the Mist by Miyuki Miyabe - A novelization of the PS2 game Ico. It gives a lot more of the backstory than the game did. Reads kind of like a fanfiction, but very nice nonetheless.

I read the classics, you know, like "The little engine that could" by Watty Piper. Touching story.
Then there is also "The very hungry caterpillar" because lets face it, it speaks to me and to you as individuals and has a very strong message to send out.
