1980: Rupert Jennings buys a government complex and helps fund the government-approved experiments from his own bank account.
1983: The government experiments are shut down due to various moral concerns.
1984: The laboratory starts back up. Experiments are secretly started on animals, with cosmetic testing as a front.
1990: Rupert Jennings dies. In his will, the complex is passed down to his son, Matthew.
1992: Matthew Jennings shuts down all animal testing and puts the building on lock-down. Experiments start on humans.
1993: Special agents hired to kidnap and recruit people for experiments and replacement of lost scientists.
1995: First human mutated. It becomes policy to use the same procedure with further experiments. Special holding cells and containment procedures are devised, as the mutated humans are much stronger and different from normal humans. Shock chips are put into use to immobilize subjects if they cannot be detained with normal procedures.
1996: An elite task force is hired to keep mutated humans under control. First mutated human dies.
2001: Matthew Jennings now owns multiple buildings around the world with similar purposes and has given control to various overseers before disappearing entirely. The building formerly owned by Rupert Jennings is now given the name EXP001.
2012: The first breach of security occurs, at EXP001. Subject cannot be contained, and now roams free throughout the facility. Mass containment breach occurs at this time. No escape to the outside has been recorded, as building is still on lock-down.
2015: Present day.

EXPERIMENTATION PROCEDURES
Option One: Lay the experiment down on a table and inject various mixtures of chemicals into their body.
Option Two: Place the experiment into a giant test tube-like machine and change the composition of the fluid inside.
Option Three: Create a being within the giant test tube-like machine.

CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES
Option One: In small animal cages stacked in the containment room. These animal cages are arranged in the way an animal shelter's would be. If an experiment is too large for a cage, they should be placed in an isolation room.
Option Two: In an isolation room, to monitor an experiment's progress or to make sure all scientists involved remain unharmed by the experiment's abilities.
Option Three: In one of the giant test tube-like machines, remaining mostly unconscious throughout the time inside the machine.
Option Four: Death, after which the body is burned in the furnace.

THE BUILDING
The building itself is extremely large and labyrinthine, causing many areas to be unceremoniously abandoned and forgotten. These areas can be safe havens for experiments. Some of the rooms in these areas can even be used as homes to some. Dotted around the place are various break rooms for the scientists. These are often not visited for hours on end due to there being at least one on every side of the building, giving experiments a way to obtain and possibly cook food throughout the day. Many of the break rooms have closets that are used to store confiscated items, such as prohibited weaponry and clothing. The outside of the building is thoroughly protected by a special task force that will shoot to kill any living being that attempts to escape, be it a flying creature trying to fly off the roof or a scientist attempting to escape through the front door. However, you will not be shot for just being on the roof, so go there as you please.

Powers: Super-Human abilities and an unbelievably high IQ, because his experiment allowed him to use 2.5% more of his brain

Experiment Project: Experiment 3983-G - Experiment 3983-G was a step in the direction to creating a mutant.
After many failed attempts it was finally a success, after the Experiment was completed 3983-G killed all the scientists around him with his new found power.
Powers: Able to generate blades out of his blood.
Background: He was in and out of mental hospitals since his wife died when he was 19, when he was brought in and experimented on he started regaining his sanity.
He has been plotting to remove his chip and break out of the facility and tell the outside world what it does to people, although so far no success.
Other Things:A object with a certain amount of air pressure surrounding it will return the blood to its normal state, a sonic-boom will break the item though.

Powers: The experiments Cale took a part in gave him super-human speed and the ability to jump extremely high. He can also speak to animals and is immune to heat. Due to the experiments Cale's eyes also tend to change colour depending on his mood but are mostly blue.
Background: Cale is an orphan who never knew his parents and was raised in an orphanage by monks. He was always bullied by the older children because he was an outsider, therefor the monks thought him various fighting styles to defend himself. When he turned 16, Cale fled the orphanage and volunteered for the experiment.
Other Things: Cale tends to keep a distance from other people and barely trusts anyone. He’s smart, although a tad bit reckless. Cale also does not remember anything that happened before the experiments.

Background: An ordinary security guard that was unfortunate enough to be assigned in a dangerous building, but lucky enough to have the abilities to survive. Like any person with a job, he has a family that he deeply cares about: A wife and two children who are still toddlers.
Weapons: Tranquilizer, Pistol, Baton.
Other Things: Despite not having any special abilities or powers, he is highly trained in close-quarter-combat and in desperate situations, can be witty and resourceful. He once stopped Faux from escaping the facility using only a pair of pliers and barbed wires, something that made Faux respect and, oddly enough, befriend Jonathan.

Experiment Project: The experiment Faux took part in involves making the skin invulnerable as possible and increasing the strength of the muscles. The purpose was to create a human tank.Unfortunately, he cannot completely do both of his powers at the same time.
Background: In his past life, he was a professional yet morally strong con artist arrested and wrongly convicted of mass murder. He was sentenced to death, until he was taken by a certain facility and was experimented on.
Powers: Extreme Muscle strength, perfected precision and agility. Another is the power to make his skin invulnerable. Both powers can be split, but they cannot be fully activated at the same time.
Other Things: Faux almost succeeded in escaping the facility, only to be stopped by a mere security officer, Jonathan Cash. He immediately gave respect to Jonathan, seeing his abilities and wit. The two have befriended each other after the incident and frequently converses with him during Jonathan's free time.
Another thing about Faux is that he refuses to murder, despite the nature of his power. This was the one of the reasons why he hasn't been able to escape.
He is well-read and quite intelligent. He is also polite.

Scientist/Guard Profile Skeleton------------------------------

Name: Dr.Hyde (first name unknown)

Age: 34

Gender: Male

Appearance: Dr.Hyde looks quite bad for his age, his pale complexion and a less than plentiful amount of hair atop his head give him the appearance of quite an old man. This appearance shows that he has little regard for personal appearance, and personal hygiene is only kept within check as requirements for scientific procedures. He dons a standard white labcoat with black latex gloves that he tends to wear at all times. His labcoat is always closed so it uncertain what he is wearing underneath or what physique he has, though due to his slim and bony face it would be safe to assume it is no different. Where the labcoat ends (just near his ankles, you can see a dark green pair of trousers and also a pair of worn out brown shoes.
What hair he has left is swiped back so it trails along the back of his neck, it is jet black in color with hints of gray within. His eyes are a soft green and his face is rather wrinkled, though this may just be due to stress rather than a product of aging.

Position: Head of the Experimental Division

Background: Although Dr.Hyde has been under employment of the corporation for over 10 years, not much is known about him. He was easily dismissed and ignored when he was just starting out as a rookie scientist, but whatever he did during his first years of research caught the attention of the bigwig executives and he was transferred to the experimental division, quickly taking over as the head of the experimental division within 2 years. The remaining 8 years of his time here have been spent within the confines of his personal department floor which he rarely leaves, not even to eat or sleep.
The only thing that is known about the mysterious Dr.Hyde is the cruel and horrific experiments he preforms on the normal humans that are brought to his department, only to come out in as mere shells of their former selves, quite a number of the mutated inhabitants of the building have had some connection with Dr.Hyde and his experiments, or know somebody who was. The term "was" should be noted, as Dr.Hydes experiments rarely survive.

Weapons: N/A

Other Things: Dr.Hyde has no recorded relatives or any close friends, or anything close to a friend. He mostly works alone despite being apart of a team consisting of 12 individuals, in the rare event he has to work in a team, he quickly dominates the project and phases out the rest of the team, not for control but simply for solitude. His personality is hard to pinpoint, whether he is evil at heart or simply deranged is debatable.
